Another of the easy to care for species.  Closely related to the Red Face Star, precautions should be taken to prevent possible inter-breeding.  These birds are quite sociable, and have been known to rear their young in an aviary setting.  They have a pleasant song, although it is very soft.

The male sits on the right side of the photo.  Notice that the yellow color extends much further back on the face than the hen.
