Also known as the White Headed Munia or the Pale Headed Mannikin.  A fairly inexpensive bird, along with its cousin the Black Head Nun, they are an interesting bird for the beginner in aviculture.  They are very hardy and mix well with similar finches.

It is very difficult to distinguish between the male and female of the species.
