| Certainly
an extremely distinctive looking bird. Also known as the Dusky
Twinspot. Sometimes referred to as the "Ohio State"
bird because of their scarlet and gray coloring. Probably
because of their Polish name their distinctive sound is
**chirp-ski**. (Only kidding).
The male is sitting in front of the
hen in the photo. Although it is difficult to tell from the
picture, the hen has distinctly more brown on the wings than has the
male. |
